We respect your privacy. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the site, what it is used for, and what your rights are.
Who runs the site

What we collect
The site needs no account, has no forms, and never asks for personal details such as your name, email address or phone number.
- Reading statistics: the server counts how many times each story and chapter is read each day, how many readers reach the end, which site readers came from (the site's name only, such as google.com, never the full address) and which addresses on the site were not found. These are kept as totals, with no IP address, cookie or anything else that identifies you, and single visit records are deleted after 90 days.
- Display settings: your choice of dark or light mode and your reading settings are kept in your own browser only (localStorage) and are never sent to us.
- My list and your place: the books you saved and where you stopped in each are kept in your own browser only (localStorage) and are never sent to us.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: which pages are read, on what kind of device, and from which country or approximate region. It uses cookies in your browser. We only see the results as totals, and cannot identify any single visitor. Google Analytics does not store visitors' IP addresses.
The data is kept on Google's servers, which may be outside your country, under Google's privacy policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser. The site keeps working as usual.
Other third-party services
As with any website, your browser contacts the servers that provide the site's files to show you its pages, and those servers technically receive your IP address:
- Render: the hosting service the site runs on.
We receive no personal information about you from these services. Their own privacy policies apply to how they use it.
Sharing information
We do not sell, rent or hand over information about visitors to anyone, apart from the services listed above and where the law requires it.
Your rights
You may ask to see the information kept about you, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. Since the site itself keeps nothing that identifies you, we usually have no such information to show; we'll still gladly answer any request at yonidors@gmail.com.
Children
The site suits readers of every age and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page.
