All children, except one, grow up. One night Peter Pan flies in at the nursery window of Wendy, John and Michael Darling, looking for his lost shadow, and teaches them to fly away with him to the Neverland: an island of lost boys, mermaids, redskins and the pirate Captain Hook. J. M. Barrie's 1911 novel is funnier, stranger and sadder than any film made from it.
